These terms outline the warranty coverage for the Ninestars 80L sensor bin lids. By submitting a warranty claim, you (the "Purchaser" or "You") agree to the terms and conditions described herein. Ninestars ("We" or "Us") will honour claims in accordance with these terms.
1. Warranty Coverage
We offer a 12-month warranty on the Ninestars 80L sensor bin lid from the original date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If your claim meets the eligibility criteria, we will replace the defective lid FREE OF CHARGE, however there is a fee of £24.95. This fee covers the following:
- Administrative costs
- Shipping for the replacement lid
2. Warranty Claims Process

Before submitting a warranty claim, please attempt the troubleshooting steps listed in the Troubleshooting Guide. These include:
- Replacing the batteries with high-quality options (e.g., Duracell).
- Resetting the sensor according to the guide’s instructions.
- Ensuring the correct use of manual, sensor, and lock modes.
2.2 Eligibility for Warranty Replacement
To qualify for a replacement lid, you must:
- Provide proof of purchase (e.g., copy of the purchase invoice).
- Demonstrate that the troubleshooting steps were followed and documented.
- Submit the claim within the 12-month warranty period.
2.3 Warranty Claim Fee
A £24.95 fee is required to process the warranty claim. This fee covers both administrative and shipping costs, and it is necessary for the following reasons:
